The 1968 film version WAR AND PEACE, directed by Sergej Fëdorovič Bondarčuk, with the participation of over 100,000 Red Army soldiers, is in a class by itself, not at least because it runs 411 minutes. In 7 1/2 hours all 4 parts are being presented in a dubbed Version. We would also like to point out that the seven and a half hours are screened in 4 parts on 4 days.
